Augmented reality on woven art pieces made by elders

We were happy to support Kwong Yum Care House last month in their event (織時行樂 – 編織夢想家) to exhibit woven art pieces with augmented reality technology. The event was part of HSBC Hong Kong Community Partnership 2019. A small group of elders created their own woven art pieces inside a workshop provided by Breakthrough Art Studio. We also joined the workshop to take video documentary of the elders and merged the videos into the AR world. We used Artivive to display video when visitor point the iPad’s camera toward the woven art piece.
